Another Virtual Machine Manager agent package is already installed. You must uninstall the existing agent.

Windows 2008 Enterprise x64 RC1 with Hyper-V (part of the domain)

System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008 Beta  with RC1 update running on Windows 2008 Standard 64bit VM  (part of the domain)

The issue:

When installing System Center Manager Agent on the host getting an error message “Another Virtual Machine Manager agent package is already installed. You must uninstall the existing agent

first”  even though agent has been already uninstalled… Getting Error 417 when trying to push an agent through SCVMM.

Any help will be appreciated.
