We are currently running VMM 2007 managing 8 Virtual Server Hosts, Two in the same Domain and Six on the Perimeter.
For the past months we have several sporadic incidents that the Virtual Server hosts are not responding and when we check the cause, we attribute it to the Agent Status Connection showing "Access Denied"
We have followed http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb963765.aspx on trying to troubleshoot but found no luck. We also trying reassociating it via the admin console and still no luck.
The solution we found working is we need to uninstall the agent and reinstall it. This has been a daunting task to do since we need to redefine the self-service policies that manages over 60+ VMs on these hosts.
It usually start with one host in the perimeter and the rest follows with the access denied thing. We do not see any problems with the domain hosts but it also happened before, the current issue right now is it affects the entire perimeter hosts.
