Hi,

I have the source which is the SCVMM network and the Target which is the Hyper-V network. I am in  need to look at what ports that needs to be opened on source side and destination side for the virtualization services to work.

I referred the technet to see ports that needs to be opened from SCVMM end and are listed below.

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg710871.aspx

But,

1. Should these ports needs to be opened both on source and destination networks?

2. What ports needs to be opened on Source (SCVMM) network and What ports that needs to be opened on Hyper-V (destination) network?

3. In my list i have excluded ports required for WSUS and Vcenter management. So, rest have listed.

Below is my network layout.

Source(SCVMM) :

10.67.133.0/24

10.67.132.0/24

Destination(Hyper-V):

10.68.0.0/16

10.69.0.0/16

10.70.0.0/16

10.71.0.0/16

10.72.0.0/16

10.73.0.0/16

10.74.0.0/16

Ports:

443,135,139,445, 5985,5986, 80, 8100, 8102, 8101, 8103, 1433, 2179

excluded WSUS and Vcenter mgmt.

Could you simplify what ports that i can enable at SCVMM network end and that should be enabled Hyper-V network end?
