Hey guys,
I am attempting to configure SSAS in VMM however each time I cannot I get the following error:
"an Invalid computer or instance name specified"
"Provide a valid computer and an instance name and try again"
The host name resolves as if I change this to something random a different error is generated. I have installed 2012 Analysis Management Objects along with 2008 which is a suggested fix.
The whole environment is running on 2012R2, and SQL is connecting to the same instance that has reporting services configured.
I've searched the web, just looking for any clues if anyone has any ideas I would be grateful.
