Question about topology of VMM2012 instalation

I'm starting a new project to deploy a 3-node Hyper-V cluster running Windows 2012. This project also includes the installation and configuration of VMM 2012 to manage the cluster.

In the past (VMM 2008 R2 and Windows 2008 R2), I used to deploy the VMM on a computer running as Virtual Machine, and this virtual machine was configured to run on cluster to ensure high availability.  As all the components of VMM2008 could be installed and executed on the same machine (SQL Express included), all the VMM components were installed on a unique machine. After that installation, the VMM were configured to manage the cluster.

With the launch of VMM 2012, I'm having some questions about the best practices to deploy this.
In the future, the client may use another System Center products, so I would like to separate the SQL Server portion of installation from VMM 2012 Server instalation. Both of those machines would run as Virtual Machines and they would be run on the cluster to keep HA.

Basically, I imagine the following step-by-step:

- Install and configure the Virtualization Hosts;
- Create and configure the Cluster;
- Install a VM running on a cluster node and configure this VM as SQL Server;
- Install a secondary VM running on a cluster node and configure this VM as VMM 2012 SP1 ;
- Configure the VMM s012 SP1 to know and manage the cluster

My question is: would this work, or I'm missing something?
