Hi,
I've got a strange problem happening - I was running a Server 2008 R2 with SCVMM 2012 and was using it to manage 7 independent hosts running Server 2008 R2. I decided to upgrade to SCVMM 2012 SP1 so obviously re-installed the SCVMM server with Server 2012 and pointed to the same database. The upgrade process went smoothly and I logged in and could see all the hosts... the problem came in when trying to view VMs running on the hosts. If I clicked on a host sometimes only a few of the VMs are displayed. Refreshing the virtual machines would bring them all back but then VMs would disappear from another host. It was almost like only a set number of VMs could be displayed. I went to Fabric and was advised that the host agent was not up to date. I had to uninstall the host agent and then deploy a new one from the server but the problem continued.
Then I figured I might as well reinstall the server and start with a fresh database... tried that now and no luck. I've got 7 hosts with 5 VMs on each one and if I click the whole group I can see only 5 VMs... the VMs and hosts change when it gets automatically refreshed but at any one time I can only see 5 VMs.
Please help?
