VMM2012 SP1 Networks and VLANs

In windows 2008r2, VMM  whatever the previous version was, all I had to do was check a box to enable the VLAN support for a VM and fill in the text box with the VLAN # I wanted it to be on.      Trunking all the VLANs to the Hypervisor.

This worked very well.

Install VMM2012 SP1  more like an accomplishment -   But I can not finger out how to get the VLAN functionality back.  I've spent a lot of late evenings reading documentation trying to understand what happened and how it is done now, but it just doesn't work.  I think I've tried all possible combinations...  I get a list of VLANs to put the VMs on but VMM2012SP1 will not set the property.     If I use Hyper-V manager and force it, I get an error, too.

I have only tried migrating 2 machines from Windows  2008R2 Hyper-V to 2012 Hyper-V,  lost one in the process because of the error about some service not being granted the correct login type, despite the OU and GPO I've created allowing NT whatever\Virtual Machines group.   Trying to migrate machines in another domain where there is a trust.  Worked fine in previous releases.  Now I get all sorts of errors, VMM2012 SP1 crashes at least once an hour.

Logical switch, virtual switch, vm network, isolation, no isolation,...   I just want What VLAN do you want this VM on...  And it works.

(Wow, how did I shrink that line?)

Hopefully someone has run in to this and can help me out.   I simply want to put VM's on VLANs configured the way they were before.
