VMM 2012 R2 Console hangs when creating baselines with WSUS

When using the WSUS features through VMM, the console sometimes freezes and ends up crashing.

I have successfully created a couple of baselines and on the third after naming it the console hung.

Looking at taskmanager the Console is using a lot of CPU and Memory. The server has 4GB of RAM and doesn't get close to that limit. I have even tried running the Console from my PC with the same issues.
